Principal Architect

My My Ly is the Principal Architect of the firm.

I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2003 and received my California’s Architect License in 2011.

After 13 years practicing under Gabriel Ng Architects, I co-headed Schaub Ly Architects for 4.5 years. I am now leading this firm to shift my focus on small residential projects.

I grew up in the Bay Area, have lived in San Francisco for 15 years, and am fluent in Vietnamese.

I currently live in the Sunset District with my husband and two young children. Outside of architecture, I enjoy reading, modern calligraphy, cooking, snuggling up with my kids with books, nature walks, and geeking out on healthy lifestyles.
